Patient Choice Health Plan is a Restricted Knox-Keene licensed health plan dedicated to helping members access the care they need in a simple and supportive way.

SCAN Health Plan is a not-for-profit Medicare Advantage (Part C) organization that provides comprehensive healthcare coverage primarily in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, and Washington. Founded in 1977 by seniors, SCAN focuses on providing benefits that help older adults maintain their independence and health.
Key Features of SCAN Medicare Advantage Plans
SCAN plans typically combine Original Medicare’s Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical) coverage, and often include Part D (prescription drug) coverage into a single plan.
- Nonprofit Focus: As a nonprofit, SCAN invests its earnings back into member benefits and services rather than paying shareholders.
- Supplemental Benefits: Many plans include “extras” not covered by Original Medicare, such as:
